Few suits can handle the storms we have in Alaska |

Hi. My name is Peter Portney. I am a hunter in the beautiful state
of Alaska. I can tell you from experience, very few suits can last
through the storms that we have here.
I recently got the Camo Series 2007 suit as a gift. I took it on a
nine-day deer hunting trip to Montague Island in the Prince William
Sound with four other hunters, all with suits from different companies.
We saw everything from sunshine to 45-50 mph wind, sideways rain, snow
showers, and extremely thick brush. And out of all the hunters, I was
the only one to come back to camp every night 100% dry and comfortable.
Everyone else took their turns drying off, changing clothes, and trying
to get warm; while I sat down warm and dry to drink coffee. You have an
absolutely incredible product that can even survive Alaskan winter
hunting. Thank you very much, from a warm, dry, comfortable hunter. I
will definitely be shopping for the rest of my hunting gear from you
and recommending you to all my hunting buddies.

My husband keeps borrowing my camo suit! |

 Just contacting you to let you know how great your products are.
I
belong to a women's club called Camo & Lace. We are affiliated with
the Safari Club International. One of our girls, Kelly, our shotgun
instructor, saw your ad in the MUCC magazine and ordered your camo
outfit. She was ecstatic when she received the outfit and it actually
fit! She is almost 5' tall and very petite, and has a very tough time
finding serious hunting apparel. When she told me about her experience
I had already ordered a camo fleece jacket from another company. It was
very expensive, but I thought it would be worth it to have a jacket
fitted to me. I am 5'6" and 200lbs, and very shapely. I like to hunt,
but I also like to look good.
When I got the expensive jacket I tried
it on and I was so disappointed. It looked like a big box with sleeves.
It looked like they just took a men's, and cut of the sleeves. When I
let them know how disappointed I was they did take it back. I then took
Kelly's advice and ordered your camo series outfit.
I got it, and
everything fit so nice I was totally impressed. Especially since the
whole outfit cost only a little more than just the jacket from the
other company. I haven't had a chance to try it in the woods yet... but
my husband just got back from Manitoba bear hunting and he mistakenly
(yeah right) took it with him. He loved it. He just tried today for
several hours to convince me that it was actually his suit. When I
finally found his (other brand), he wanted to trade.

I have never been so warm and dry in my life. |

This product will do what it says and much, much more!! I live in
Big Bay, Michigan, and we get between 250-320 inches of snow per year.
I hunt, showshoe, and spend a lot of time outside. This year, in
January, I went to their store in Ishpeming, just 50 miles south of my
shack. I purchased 2 full sets of their camo product.
I have never been so warm and dry in anything in my life. The fit is
great. I wish everyone that spends time outside would purchase this
product.
Please keep up the good work - and keep your powder dry.

Never before have I been so comfortable.... |

Hello!
I wanted to take a moment and let you know about my experience with your hunting clothing. I live in Delaware, and while it does not get as cold as it does in your neck of the woods, it still gets pretty darn cold. I received your Ultimate Camo package for Christmas, and I was anxious to try it out. Of course when I had a chance to, we had record setting high temps. I wore the pants and outer jacket alone, and the vents in both were great to have when the temp reached 70...in January!
The next time I got to use it, it was a more typical January day. The temperature was 23 degrees, and it was windy. Never before have I been so comfortable in those temperatures with that kind of wind. I was amazed and absolutely thrilled at how well your clothing performed! This truly is an all-year-round outdoor wear system. Within two weeks, I got to wear it with temps in the 70's as well as in the 20's, and I was equally comfortable in both.
I was skeptical when I first saw your ad, but I am definitely a believer now. I was so happy with it, that I have since ordered the waterproof fleece hat and the red fleece jacket with the Smart-Tex lining to wear during the spring and fall striper fishing seasons. Thank you for producing such a great product at such a great value.
I have told everyone I know that enjoys the outdoors that Smartwear is definitely the way to go. Keep up the great work!!!
